Although the present owner uses her as a day boat, similar boats have done extensive long distance cruising. Richard Woods and gang have sailed their boat to Russia from the UK.

The present Malaysian owner is looking forward to building a bigger Woods designed catamaran and willing to part with his ever faithfull Strider 24 for Malay Ringgit RM 48,000. If you need the tow vehicle as well, the boat and the Ford Ranger in the picture can go for RM 93,000. The RM 48,000 asking price (is roughly about US$ 14,000) she should suite someone wanting to get out of the global financial turmoil and go cruising on a relatively low budget around Asia at your own leisure.
