AsianYachting
goes MultiMedia
By AY
Event Media
27
May 2010: After successfully installing three live streaming
TV Channels, (LVT
Live - AYTV
- SAIL
TV) we decided it was time to garner some further International
MultiMedia attention by
adding a collection of famous yachts racing and classic blue water video's
onto my YouTube
- MrCaptMarty's
Channel (Never was any good at filling in those dam online
forms) that was created late last year to stream any live YuuZoo
news during the 2009 Rolex Sydney Hobart
Race.
As the AY
Website
is now entering mainstream media circles, we are in the process of inter
connecting to the Major Players
that make up AY
MultiMedia (Listed below)
somehow with a RSS feed from the 2009-10
AY News, Race Reports and AYGP
Updates. Please bare with us if any duplication occurs during
this period.
The
AYTV
Live Streaming with action replays plus the all important
Program of Events and Links
to other Live
Streaming and Highlight
Channels can be accessed from http://asianyachting.com/AYTV.htm
It is still a bit hit and miss as it's fully dependant on your line speed.
As the streaming often gets hung up, don't be frightened to click on REFRESH
or toggle around between the three players to find something that suites
you.
Feel free to roam
around the sites that make up AY
MultiMedia, watch some In
the News sailing video's or sing along with the Classics,
suggest any video's to be uploaded, sign in and make comments were necessary,
study up on the Learn to SAIL
with Asian Yachtmasters
syllabus as we genuinely like our keen subscribers to share in a yachting
experience before they leave the sites. Enjoy...

Light
winds hamper LVTV race scheduling
With all the lengthy delays experienced at the WMRT
and LVT
recently, it will be Interesting to see how King Larry and Sir Russell
Coutts intend to stream fixed time Live
ACTV in harmony with nature. They may have to join the
Internet revolution they created as apparently by 2013-14 we will all
be watching on the Blackberry or iPod and the mobile internet viewing
audience will finally exceed worldwide TV
viewers. We are forever thankful to SAIL
TV for turning this opportunity into reality, especially
the lesser known Yachting News
outlets like AY.
Oh! Did I happen to mention that another good thing about their service
- At the moment it is completely FREE
and EASY for website media
to handle. Once imbedded you can forget. La!
Each day the Louis
Vuitton Trophy in La Maddalena, Sardegna is supposed to start
(Weather permitting) at 10am CET or 1600 East Asian Time (EAT) till the
6th June. Unfortunately the Wind Gods
have not been favourable over the first few days of racing there have
been long delays, racing into the late evening and after a massive collision
two boats are out of service for a few days has seriously hampered race
officials in keeping to any schedule let alone execute their duties. It's
time like these 'Who would want to be a PRO?' The very experienced Peter
Reggio (Luigi) has certainly got his work cut out and will severely test
his patience before this event is over. Hope he has enough cigarettes
onboard to see which way the wind blows the smoke and in times like these
for medicinal purposes.
