AsianYachting Christmas - New Year Special

What a difference a year makes...

Despite the devastating effects the Tsunami had on the beginning of 2005, the South East Asian tourism and yachting industries picked themselves up and came back with vengeance after the biggest natural disaster of all time. The regatta scene has continued to flourish with the introduction of the Swedish Match Tour - Monsoon Cup and announcements of a America's Cup Challenge coming from Malaysia.

Together with the successful running of the annual classics, like the Raja Muda and Phuket King's Cup has shown the world that these industrious tiger economies are well and truly, back in business. Many thanks must go to event organisers that hold a strong belief that the region has enormous potential and continue developing boating facilities to service one of the best all year round cruising grounds the world has to offer.

AsianYachting would like to take this opportunity to wish all our 2800 plus subscribers, advertisers and other website's that have carried our Newsletters and Race Reports a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.

After a busy Nov/Dec period at the ISSA and ISAF conferences in Singapore and with the 2005-06 Regatta Season in full swing, we have gained over 200 more subscribers on the Circulation List and personally like to wish them a warm welcome.
