Samui Regatta - It's FFreefire again
Despite winning todays final race Troy Yaw's Ulumulu had yesterdays
Racing Class 1A provisional race 5 win overturned by the International
Jury in favour of Sam Chan's Ffreefire. This decision handed
the Russ Parker skippered ULDB sled a narrow victory over Ulumulu
skippered by Ray Roberts and left Gerry Daughton's Outrageous
trailing in 3rd spot overall.

Presidents
Cup results closing up the rankings
Neil Pryde's Hi-Fidelity (2004 Omega AYC winner) made a return
to the top of the regatta podium at the Presidents Cup, after a close
tussle with Ray Ordevesa's re-measured Karakoa and a consistent
effort by Fred Kinmonth's crew on Stella earned them third place.

succession.

QBE Phang Nga Bay Regatta -
Hocux Pocux 2 to the fore
Superb breeze, torn spinnakers, a couple of collisions and some very exciting
racing was the order of the week for the 7th QBE Phang Nga Bay Regatta
which commenced from the Yacht Haven Marina at the northern end of Phuket
Island. A fleet of 34 yachts were blessed with some of the most outstanding
sailing conditions Phuket has enjoyed in years with blue skies and strong
winds prevailing for the entire four days of the event. Goto article and

RECORDS SMASHED ON THE KATA GROUP ANDAMAN SEA RALLY
After two grueling offshore passage races between Phuket and Port Blair
in the Andaman Islands, the 2nd Kate Group Andaman Sea Rally champ was
crowned. Competitive racing and a lot of fun were the hallmarks this year
and in the end Intrigue of Stornaway walked

on HB
After surviving 3 grueling overnight passage races up the west coast of
Malaysia and completing 3 harbour races in Langkawi the eventual winner
of the RMIR 2003 is Ray
Roberts and his mainly Aussie rock star crew on Hollywood
Boulevard.

A boat with the same name spelt backwards
Ulumulu emerged as the inaugural winner of the
converted Borneo Cup Yachting Challenge 2003 trophy.
The custom Sydney 46, owned by Troy Yaw and skippered by Bill Nicholson, won the cup "by a very close margin"
