Cup
The Securicor Somtum Cowboys skippered
by Scott Duncanson (Ao Chalong YC Phuket) snatched victory on the final
day from Thai champion helmsman Jaray Thipsuk (Satin) by one point on
the annual fleet race regatta for Farr Platu 25's held in Pranburi Thailand
to commemorate the Coronation of His Majesty King Bhumibhol Adulyadej

The inaugural Koh Samui Regatta 2002 was a big success - with Keith Moore's Malaysian built International Farr 40 Pla Loma to everyone's surprise narrowly beating Frank Pongs 76ft Jelic on countback with Aussie Ray Roberts on Luna Nuova third. Arab businessman and 38 International visiting yachts on a cruise around
the Legendary Islands of Langkawi high lighting the recently completed

Entries are now being taken for the worlds only yacht race to traverse the Pacific Ocean nonstop from south to north by crews of two. The Melbourne / Osaka Double-Handed Yacht Race, held every four years, is expected to again attract an international fleet to take on the 5500 nautical mile course during March 2003. from 17-21 November 2002 and will then be hosted by the Republic of Singapore
