Yachtmasters PERSONAL LOG BOOK Each AY Logbook has a personal log section to record your own sailing experiences. It is best kept by making block entries over a yachting passage or time period e.g. season or cruise. Detailing the type and size of vessel and your role or position, rather than making daily entries. Details of courses attended and completed should also be recorded and signed by the Yachting Centers - Instructor, Principle or regional Examiner.
By progressively totaling the Days/hours on board and the distance of each voyage in nautical miles your overall experience can be viewed immediately by a AY Examiner during One-day Assessments for Yachtmaster Level of Competency, Instructor or Examiner endorsements. Also to be used as a reference of personal experience when chartering a yacht, Local Marine Authority Licensing or for Insurance purposes. Email the AY directly with your details at: info@asianyachting.com to receive a Free E-Logbook word file to keep a personal record of your sea miles.
